P&M - Production Associate
Production Associate – Extrusion Line Operator
Primarily responsible for maintaining production equipment elements like start-up, operation, changeover, shutdown and preventative maintenance. Equipment may include but is not limited to: extrusion line equipment, tools and/or dies.
- Stack material from line onto pallet
- Perform visual quality checks of materials and purge imperfections while stacking
- Obtain can samples (can/sheet) and present to Quality Control lab for testing
- Absorb and assist with start-ups and shutdowns on the extrusion line
- Absorb and assist wherever is needed and perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualified Candidate Will Possess Positive attitude
Ability to work with limited supervision
Willingness to contribute to a continuous improvement environment
High school diploma or GED preferred
Experience in a plant/manufacturing environment, preferred
Requirements
Must be able to:
Read, write, and speak English for training/safety purposes
Work an 8-hour shift and overtime as needed
Understand and communicate in English sufficiently to safely perform job duties, follow work instructions, understand safety requirements, and respond to emergency situations
Be willing to take on new assignments/job tasks as needed
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Pay
$ 18.50 per hour
