Responsibilities

  • Oversee the modernization of underwriting and policy administration processes
  • Drive cloud transformation initiatives for enhanced operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with teams to implement data-driven solutions and secure architectures
  • Analyze and improve risk selection and claims resolution speed
  • Enhance customer experience through innovative strategies and automation
  • Mentor team members to develop their skills and capabilities
  • Manage client relationships and deliver exceptional service
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in operational practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 7 years of experience in solution architecture or senior technical delivery roles

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer and Information Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Certifications including TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP, or security certifications (CISSP)
  • Hands-on architecture experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers, APIs, event streaming and CI/CD
  • Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
  • Leading and developing technical teams in a collaborative environment
  • Driving adoption of new technologies and innovative approaches
  • Overseeing project lifecycle and managing budgets and timelines
  • Providing technical guidance in system integration and cloud architecture
  • Designing scalable and secure systems using modern patterns
  • Continuously monitoring emerging technologies and industry trends

  • Analyse and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system
  • Take ownership of projects, ensuring their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion
  • Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables
  • Develop skills outside your comfort zone, and encourage others to do the same
  • Effectively mentor others
  • Use the review of work as an opportunity to deepen the expertise of team members
  • Address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, team members and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate
  • Uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards (e.g. refer to specific PwC tax and audit guidance), the Firm's code of conduct, and independence requirements

Pay

The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
