Owner’s Advisor/Program Manager – Energy & Power (Pacific NW)
Technical/Functional Responsibilities
- Drives the development of early stage design and assists client in managing design teams through the completion of 30% design deliverables.
- Assists client program leadership in developing contractor solicitation documents to complete successful solicitations.
- Organizes received bid documents for comparative reviews of proposals by program team and design engineers with the purpose of supporting client contracting decisions.
- Supports client in negotiation of contracts with construction contractors.
- Leads the support teams to review contractor submittals on behalf of client and draft submittal responses.
- Drives activities related to services during construction to ensure that contractor is completing work within requirements for safety, quality, permitting, schedule, and cost as established by client.
- Works with program team to develop appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), tracks the KPI data, and prepares KPI Reporting for client program.
- Aids client in developing program forecasts for annual spending of $250,000,000+/-.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with strong emphasis on engineering and construction management preferred, others considered
- 15+ years’ of progressive experience in energy and power design/construction with 10+ years experience in a leadership role within a program or as an Owner’s Advisor.

- Strong communication and organization skills, both verbal and written are critical
- Strong detail orientation and problem solving skills
- Able to contribute in a team environment and work across multiple departments
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to track and prioritize numerous simultaneous tasks
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Prioritizing improvement of methods and practices
- Power Transmission and Distribution experience
- Professional Engineer’s License in a Northwestern State

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $182,500.00 to $249,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
