Overnights (Macedon) – Personal Care Aide (PCA) Jobs

About the role

CareGivers is a licensed home care agency with 12 branches in Upstate New York and Western Pennsylvania. We provide quality, compassionate home care services and are currently seeking experienced Personal Care Aides (PCA), Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA), and Home Health Aide (HHA) candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Help clients prepare and eat meals
• Tidying up the client's home to maintain a healthy environment
• Ensure clients follow their medication schedules
• Other care may be needed to keep clients safe

Requirements

• Must be certified PCA*, HHA, or CNA
• If you have had at least 3 months of previous caregiving experience in the last three years, you may qualify to become a PCA through our free one-day alternative competency training class
• Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Must be caring, dependable, and meet health requirements
• Must be 18 or older

Qualifications

Qualified nursing students can work as HHA’s for us. Ask us how!

Overnight shift rate: $19.00 / hour
