About the role

The Advanced Environmental Services Technician is essential in maintaining a clean and safe hospital environment to support patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a hygienic and sterile environment
• Follow written and verbal instructions to perform tasks
• Work with the public and provide customer service
• Lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking throughout shifts
• Perform tasks requiring gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior hospital environmental service experience
• Prior work experience following written and verbal instructions
• Previous experience with performing manual tasks
• Previous experience working with the public and providing customer service

Physical Requirements

• Able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Prolonged standing and walking during each shift
• Able to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat
