Overnight Warehouse Associate

About the role

The Receiving Associate assists in warehouse operations and manages the unloading, auditing, and staging of product to recover store inventory.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection
• Ensure all receiving paperwork is properly completed
• Ensure products are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures
• Oversee the rotation of inventories within the warehouse
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding and compliance with the company’s safe lifting practices and standard operating procedures
• Complete required department and equipment training (must be forklift certified)
• Act in a manner that is consistent with the company’s core values
• Perform other related duties as directed by management

Requirements

• 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience preferred
• Experience driving a forklift is preferred
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Attentive to detail
• Ability to work in different weather conditions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons

Qualifications

• Physical Work – Ability to exert 30 – 60 pounds of force occasionally, and or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects
• Frequent hand and finger use
• Frequent standing, walking, reaching with arms and hands, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling

Pay

Competitive base pay based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

• Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available
• Store Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Pickup Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Working Conditions

• Exposure to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles
• Moderate to noisy noise level in the work environment
