About the role
Parking Management Company (PMC) is hiring Overnight Valet Parking Attendants in Charleston, SC for the Overnight Shift. This role offers an average base pay of $16.00 - $20.00 per hour (plus tips), with benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and tuition assistance.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service by greeting guests professionally and providing prompt valet service
- Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles
- Assist guests with directions or luggage when needed
- Maintain safety and security by performing vehicle inspections and noting any existing damage, following all key handling and vehicle safety procedures, and monitoring the parking area to ensure a safe environment
- Support overnight operations by maintaining a clean and organized valet station, recording hours and gratuities according to company policy, and assisting team members and supporting overall hotel operations
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation
- Customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to drive manual vehicles is a plus
Physical Requirements
This is an active position requiring the ability to: stand and walk for extended periods, run short distances retrieving vehicles, lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
