About the Role

The LAZ Overnight Valet Attendant plays a significant role in the success of the company. They are the first and last person clients and customers see, so a warm welcome, smiling face, and professional demeanor are essential.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic to maintain a clean and organized flow of cars
• Welcome guests upon arrival and departure with a smile
• Greet all customers by name, address their needs, and develop rapport
• Open and close car doors for every customer
• Assist guests with luggage as needed
• Turn off cars and remove keys
• Provide valet tickets and explain the retrieval process
• Park and retrieve cars carefully, efficiently, and in a timely manner
• Work independently with or without supervision
• Promote excellent customer relations by going above and beyond

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (minimum 2 years)
• Knowledge of automatic and manual (stick shift) transmissions
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Strong customer service experience
• Parking and/or hospitality industry experience preferred but not required

Physical Demands

• Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.)
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift
