About the role

Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers.

Responsibilities

• Stock grocery products, unload trucks, and keep aisles neat and clean.
• Meet customer needs by providing well-stocked and accurately priced merchandise to promote sales.
• Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
• Smile, make eye contact, and thank customers upon fulfilling requests.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
• Perform merchandising functions for the Grocery Department, including stocking, pricing, signing, price changes, and inventory checks.
• Return excess merchandise to the back room area per corporate guidelines.
• Unload merchandise from trucks and stock products throughout the retail unit according to company procedures.
• Follow all company standards regarding sanitation (floors, shelves, and back room area).
• Process customer orders as business needs dictate.
• Retrieve shopping carts and return them to designated areas.
• Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
