Overnight Stocker - Cosentino's Price Chopper #416 2219 N. Belt Hwy

About the Role

This non-exempt, overnight position supports customers by efficiently stocking shelves and displays in a friendly and courteous manner. You will report to the Night Manager.

Responsibilities

• Implement Cosentino’s Customer Service Standards.
• Quickly unload and sort incoming shipments, stocking merchandise in designated areas without damage.
• Maintain neat back room, cooler, and freezer areas for new deliveries.
• Stock grocery shelves by matching UPCs to shelf tags and using the “face front” display method.
• Support inventory by accurately counting and recording merchandise.
• Monitor and remove damaged, unsaleable, or returnable products, following proper damage claim procedures.
• Operate, clean, and maintain equipment safely and competently.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards for team and individual results.
• Monitor expiration dates and ensure proper rotation of ad items.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and department for customers and coworkers.
• Comply with all health regulations, sanitation guidelines, and safety procedures.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and interpersonal skills for positive customer and peer interactions.
• Know department items, procedures, and policies to answer customer questions accurately and courteously.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and escalate to management when necessary.
• Complete additional tasks as identified by management, assist other stores/departments, and learn new skills as needed.

Requirements

• Completion of ongoing training and development as listed on the Cosentino’s Learning Plan.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math and reading skills required for the position.

Physical Demands

• Reach overhead (up to 84 inches) and lift objects up to 10 lbs with both hands.
• Push and pull loaded grocery carts and pallet jacks (up to 75 lbs peak force).
• Stand and walk for long periods on hard surfaces (tile, asphalt, concrete).
• Frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Bend and squat, sometimes to floor level.
• Work in cooler and freezer conditions.
• Occasionally climb ladders (up to 15 ft).
