Overnight Stocker

About the role

Overnight Stockers at Sprouts Farmers Market work in several different areas of the store, from the Dry Grocery Department, to the Dairy Department, and also the Frozen Department. As an Overnight Stocker, you will stock shelves, fill frozen foods bins, maintain store cleanliness and presentation, receive product deliveries, ensure delivery accuracy, and move product to the sales floor using various equipment. You will also rotate merchandise to ensure the freshest product is available for customers.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves in Dry Grocery, Dairy, and Frozen Departments
• Fill frozen foods bins
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the store
• Receive product deliveries and ensure delivery accuracy
• Move product to the sales floor using different types of equipment
• Rotate merchandise to ensure freshness

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age, dependable, and reliable
• Have an outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
• Ability to interact with customers and work in a team environment
• Ability to vertically/horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 60 lbs., from 5” to 34”, for a distance up to 5 feet for up to 25 hours without mechanical assistance
• Flexible schedule that changes as the business does
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction
• Ability to perform repetitious activities, multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized
• High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or acceptable combination of education and experience
