About the role

Overnight Stockers at Sprouts Farmers Market work in several different areas of the store, from the Dry Grocery Department to the Dairy Department and the Frozen Department. Responsibilities include stocking shelves, filling frozen foods bins, maintaining store cleanliness and presentation, receiving product deliveries, ensuring delivery accuracy, and moving product to the sales floor using various types of equipment. Overnight Stockers also rotate merchandise to ensure the freshest product is available for customers.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves in Dry Grocery, Dairy, and Frozen Departments
• Fill frozen foods bins
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the store
• Receive product deliveries and ensure delivery accuracy
• Move product to the sales floor using various types of equipment
• Rotate merchandise to ensure freshness

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age, dependable, and reliable
• Have an outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
• Ability to interact with customers and work in a team environment
• Vertically/horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 60 lbs., from 5” to 34”, for a distance up to 5 feet for up to 25 hours without mechanical assistance
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that changes with business needs
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction
• Perform repetitious activities, multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized
• High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an acceptable combination of education and experience
