Essential functions

• Performs companion care which may be just watching the client and assist when walking
• Some overnight shifts, sleeping is permitted as long as you can wake up when needed
• Some more advanced clients may require personal care activities and assist the client with activities of daily living which may include:
  • Ambulation
  • Prepare meals
  • Assist with bathing
  • Light housework
  • Bathing
  • Personal hygiene
