Overnight Shift Manager
About the role
The role involves leading shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers are responsible for various tasks including planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor shifts to ensure high-quality service and cleanliness.
- Maintain inventory levels and manage daily maintenance and cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift.
- Manage crew and other managers to meet McDonald’s standards.
- Help departments meet their goals and targets.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues.
- Train new employees and enhance existing skills.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
- A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility with a willingness to adapt to a dynamic work schedule.
- Age 18 or older.
