Overnight Security (Part Time) | Hotel Interurban

About the role

Join the team at Hotel Interurban as an Overnight Security professional and play a vital role in creating a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our guests and team members throughout the night. In this role, you’ll monitor the property, respond to guest needs, support overnight operations, assist with airport shuttle transportation, and work closely with police and alarm monitoring services when needed. Responsibilities

• Ensure the building is a safe and secure environment at all times
• Maintain a close working relationship with police and alarm monitoring services
• Provide airport shuttle transportation
• Ensure proper building safety and security measures are always followed
• Maintain up‑to‑date information on current and future events in the city and county
• Answer the telephone in a pleasant and professional manner within three rings
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly desk at all times
• Respond to all guest requests in an expeditious manner
• Monitor the property, respond to guest needs, support overnight operations, and assist with airport shuttle transportation

Requirements

• Two years of related experience and/or training
• Valid driver’s license with a clear record
• Excellent verbal and people skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently (required to analyze and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals)
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Weekend availability

Pay

Hourly Pay Range: $22.00 to $24.00 DOE – Get Paid Daily
