Overnight Security Guard/Maintenance

Job Description

Cover routine security patrols throughout the community during overnight hours.

Monitor building access, respond to alarms, resident pendants, and report safety or security concerns.

Assist residents, staff, and visitors as needed during overnight hours.

Complete incident reports and maintain accurate shift logs.

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, troubleshooting.

Respond to maintenance emergencies such as plumbing, electrical, or equipment issues within scope of training.

Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.

Assist with room turns, work orders, and facility upkeep.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to communicate verbally and in written form and cooperate effectively with others
• Proven work experience as a security guard or maintenance worker
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills with orientation to detail
• Integrity and professionalism
• Ability to pass drug test
• Ability to obtain a fingerprint clearance card
