About the role

Seasonal Overnight Associates for unloading, processing, and stocking merchandise. Shifts run Tuesday - Saturday, 10pm-6am. Rotating weekends and holidays are required (exceptions: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve).

Pay

$13.25 hourly, plus a $1.00 overnight differential, equating to $14.25 during overnight shifts. Paid two 15-minute breaks and a 45-minute lunch break.

Responsibilities

  • Unpacking, sorting, stocking, and recovering merchandise in a physically active, fast-paced environment
  • Processing large volumes of merchandise arriving daily with urgency
  • Covering multiple responsibilities with limited staffing
  • Adhering to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards
  • Cross-training to support multiple areas of the store as needed
  • Role-modeling customer experience practices and supporting a positive store culture
  • Accurately ringing customer purchases/returns and counting change
  • Promoting credit and loyalty programs
  • Maintaining merchandising philosophy and standards
  • Processing and preparing merchandise for the sales floor
  • Initiating and participating in store recovery throughout the day
  • Maintaining organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and entire store
  • Providing and accepting recognition and constructive feedback
  • Adhering to labor laws, policies, and procedures
  • Supporting store shrink reduction goals and programs
  • Participating in safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including rotating weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Capability to multitask and respond to unexpected situations
  • Ability to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Works effectively with peers and supervisors
  • Retail customer experience preferred
