Overnight Sales Associate/Customer Service - Pump & Pantry

About the role

The Sales Associate is responsible for serving customers in a professional, quick and courteous manner, while complying with all food handling guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers in a friendly manner.
• Understands all functions of the POS system.
• Makes change properly.
• Processes all sales quickly and accurately.
• Ensures all items are properly stocked and priced correctly.
• Reads and follows directions.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and performs simple maintenance.
• Keeps store neat and clean, inside and outside.
• Recognizes problems and reports them to management.
• Projects a positive attitude.
• Ensures a clean and healthy food service environment for our customers and associates by following proper cooking procedures and temperature holding temps.
• Ensures that all food products are stored properly, rotated and code dated with expiration dates.
• Responsible for temperature testing food to ensure proper food safety and quality control.
• Provides friendly and competent customer service.
• Reports for work in a timely manner when scheduled with regular and consistent attendance.

Requirements

• Able to work the POS system efficiently.
• Able to read, write and perform math skills.
• Able to communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Able to work holidays, weekends, and any shift needed.
• Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
• Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Hours are typically 8am-6pm, Monday-Friday, with some flexibility.
