Overnight Retail Cashier

Pay

• $15.50 an hour
• $1.00 shift differential for overnight shifts (minimum 4 hours between 10:00pm and 7:00am)

Shift

Part-time: 5:00am - 2:00pm

Duties/Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and thank them for their business
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service
• Apply discounts and promotions as applicable
• Maintain a clean and organized store, inside and out
• Stock and rotate shelves, coolers, and displays properly
• Absorb additional store duties as needed

Skills/Qualifications

• Flexible availability for 24/7 operation (nights, weekends, and holidays)
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, can-do attitude
• Reliability, integrity, and a history of doing the right thing
• A team player with a willingness to help wherever needed
• Prior retail or foodservice cashiering experience is a plus
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to change
• Must meet legal age requirements to sell regulated products (alcohol and tobacco)

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, bend, and twist frequently
• Reach with hands and arms
• Climb or balance occasionally
• Stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Speak and listen
• Lift and/or move up to 20 pounds frequently
• Lift and/or move up to 65 pounds occasionally
• Safely work in heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor environments
