Overnight Retail Cashier

Pay

• $15.50 an hour
• $1.00 shift differential for overnight shifts

• Overnight: 10:00pm - 7:00am

Duties/Responsibilities

Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back.

Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service.

Apply discounts and promotions as applicable while following all company policies and laws related to restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco, etc.).

Maintain a clean and organized store, inside and out.

Stock and rotate shelves, coolers, and displays properly.

Assist with additional store duties as needed.

Skills/Qualifications

• Flexible availability for a 24/7 operation (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, can-do attitude
• Reliability, integrity, and a history of doing the right thing
• A team player with a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed
• Prior retail or foodservice cashiering experience is a plus
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to change

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, bend, and twist frequently
• Reach with hands and arms
• Climb or balance occasionally
• Stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Listen and talk frequently
• Lift and/or move up to 20 pounds frequently
• Lift and/or move up to 65 pounds occasionally
• Safely work in heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals
