Overnight Residential Counselor (Part Time)

About the role

The Overnight Residential Counselor (Part Time) position at GRIP Program is seeking an energetic and positive individual passionate about helping adolescents through trauma-informed care. The role involves providing comprehensive care, including enriching daily activities, and supporting students in developing life skills.

Responsibilities

• Convey passion for helping others with a dynamic team
• Bring an energetic and positive approach
• Work with students in a Group Home treatment setting
• Create a safe and therapeutic community
• Support students in developing effective coping strategies
• Help students discover what makes them feel competent and valued
• Develop and implement daily activities for students
• Provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of students during overnight shifts
• Work evenings, holidays, and weekends as required

Requirements

• Maintain valid driver’s license
• Be 21 years of age
• Pass background and driving record checks

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Experience with trauma-informed care
• Ability to work evenings, holidays, and weekends

Pay

The pay range for this position is $19.00 to $25.00 per hour. The actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, licensure, certifications, and qualifications.

Schedule

The Overnight Residential Counselor (Part Time) works evenings, holidays, and weekends as required.
