Overnight Registered Nurse (New Grads Welcome)

Responsibilities

• Use critical thinking skills to coordinate and provide safe, quality care to our residents utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for fostering quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia by the Department of Health Professions (please contact us directly if you are licensed in another state)
• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
• 1+ years nursing experience, psychiatric experience preferred

Required Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities

• Capable of communicating effectively verbally and with sound documentation skills
• Knowledge of medications, their proper dosage, effects and contraindications
• Able to plan and organize assigned work
• Able to interact appropriately with residents ages 11-17
• Able to apply sound judgment with clinical skills to ensure optimal patient care

Pay

• Up to $45.00 hourly (Including Shift Differentials)

Schedule

• 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
