About the role
Overnight homecare for a pediatric patient requiring respiratory monitoring and support during sleep.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Develop and revise care plans based on patient needs and physician directives.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitoring effectiveness.
- Respond to changes in patient condition and communicate with healthcare providers.
- Identify educational, care coordination, and discharge planning needs.
- Monitor and stimulate breathing during sleep, ensuring patient safety.
- Update care plans as necessary.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the practicing state.
- Valid health certificate, PPD or chest X-ray, and BLS certification.
- Preferred: at least one year of RN experience.
