Overnight Parking Attendant
Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Parking Attendant to join our team at Joe’s Auto Parks, LLC. The primary responsibilities include maintaining the lot, ensuring accuracy in pricing and quantities, accepting payments, issuing receipts, answering inquiries, providing helpful information to customers, responding to complaints, processing refunds or exchanges, and maintaining a clean workspace.
Responsibilities
- Greet and be available to customers for customer service related issues.
- Possess positive customer service skills.
- Answer inquiries about all rates, services, and promotions.
- Utilize etiquette and professionalism during all customer interactions—phone or in person.
- Accurately process revenue transactions and receive payment by cash or credit card.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
- Accurate data entry of valet claim ticket data.
- Sell memberships with salesmanship skills.
- Prepare necessary accounting reports, cashier shift reports, gas reports, service reports (where applicable) and any other required reports or forms.
- Comply with company rules, policies, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Cashiering experience, 1-2 years or more.
- Able to calculate and perform basic arithmetic functions in the application of revenue accounting and cash accounting.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and basic computer skills.
- Able to work in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Dependent upon location, must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods.
- Able to operate a computer keyboard and mouse.
