Job Summary
The Overnight Order Picker with The Restaurant Store supports the Order Fulfillment Manager in all aspects of the customer order process within a retail branch location. Responsibilities include picking, consolidating, slotting customer orders, completing order fulfillment tasks, and communicating discrepancies effectively.
Responsibilities
- Pick, consolidate, and slot customer orders accurately and efficiently using pallet jacks, carts, and/or powered equipment
- Complete all order fulfillment tasks in alignment with branch operational goals
- Meet or exceed company-defined efficiency and accuracy metrics
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe order fulfillment area
- Communicate discrepancies, order status, or issues effectively with the Order Fulfillment Manager
- Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing
- Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
- Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching
- Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management
Education
This role does not require a degree. Relevant skills and experience, along with alignment with our core values, are valued above all else.

- Proficiency with MS Office required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with CRM systems and project management tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical and complex concepts in a simple and concise way
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to quickly adapt as business needs change; ability to address difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligence
