Overnight Nurse

About the Role

Provide direct nursing care and medication support to adults in detox and residential mental health environments. Contribute to creating a calm, respectful, and recovery-focused environment in a 24/7 treatment facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, withdrawal symptoms, and mental health status.
• Document assessments, medication administration, incidents, and clinical notes accurately.
• Collaborate with medical staff to support individualized treatment plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain infection control, confidentiality, ethical standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Deliver compassionate nursing care and support medication administration.
• Monitor patient wellness and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program.
• Active Georgia LPN license in good standing.
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in detox, behavioral health, or related healthcare fields.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
