Overnight Machine Operator

About the Role

Contract-to-hire, onsite position in Lakewood, New Jersey, working overnight 12-hour shifts.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday, overnight 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (scheduled for 4 days, 48 hours per week), plus occasional mandatory Friday when scheduled.

Pay

$20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment used to produce industrial textile material such as facings, liners, acoustic padding, vibration reduction material (rubber), and other industrial coatings.
• Prepare materials for production, load and unload materials throughout the process (rubber or putty-like raw material).
• Set up and clean machines regularly following safety protocols.
• Review processes and follow SOP instructions for quality assurance.
• Wear appropriate PPE and follow safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but may be waived in lieu of direct work experience.
• At least 1 year experience using a sit-down forklift.
• At least 6 months experience operating production machinery or production equipment.
• Must be available to work overnight, 12-hour shifts 5 days per week.
• Reliable and attentive to safety protocols.
