About the role
Overnight Installers are accountable for the execution of a finished assembly of temporary store construction enclosures and graphics packages. This role is responsible for installation of modular construction barricades panels, non-electrical retail signs, and hanging store fixtures or graphics with precision and care, ensuring that Boston Retail Solutions customers receive a high level of quality, service, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Installation of modular storefront construction barricades at various locations throughout a defined territory
- Installation of large format graphics (training provided)
- Maintain company provided tools
- Accurately report project information at time of completion
- Drive to and from job sites in BRS fleet vehicles while maintaining a clean and organized truck
- Responsible for maintaining good working order for all BRS provided tools, equipment, and apparel
- Follow appropriate safety guidelines and wear personal protection equipment as needed per jobsite requirements
- Ensure on-site and off-site behavior is professional while respecting traditional courtesy and good manners
Requirements
- Working knowledge of power tools
- Experienced in field-based installations
- Familiarity with common hand tools
- Physical ability to climb and work on ladders
- Knowledge of scissor lift and man lifts preferable
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- 2+ years of construction or carpentry related experience is helpful
- Availability to work overtime as needed
- Occasional travel within a defined territory
- This position requires you to operate a vehicle with a gross vehicle weight of up to 26,000 lbs. and is subject to U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. You will be required to successfully complete and maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical). Employment is contingent upon meeting these physical and medical standards.
