About the role

As an Inbound Expert on the General Merchandise and Food Sales team, you will help create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience. You will be responsible for inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes for General Merchandise areas, as well as supporting Food & Beverage and Food Service operations.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests from 10 ft away with a friendly smile and eye contact; from 4 ft away with a warm, helpful interaction.
  • Help guests find items or resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience, ending each transaction with a sincere thank you.
  • Support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive, respectful attitude.
  • Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring experience.
  • Execute a detailed, accurate, and efficient sorting operation.
  • Stock, organize, and store reserve product; straighten merchandise on the sales floor and maintain product availability for General Merchandise categories.
  • If certified, operate powered equipment while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
  • Process defective merchandise and handle environmentally sensitive (ESIM) items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely at all times, report hazards, and correct them when possible.
  • Support guest services such as back‑up cashier, order pick‑up (OPU), and Drive‑Up (DU) while complying with federal, state, and local adult‑beverage laws.
  • Perform all other duties based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
  • Ability to communicate on multiple‑frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Quickly resolve guest questions on the spot.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes.
  • Maintain focus and composure in a fast‑paced environment, handling multiple tasks within established timeframes.
  • Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
  • Climb ladders, scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, frequently lifting, carrying, and moving items up to 44 lb throughout a shift.
  • Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and other peak shopping times.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing duties such as Drive‑Up and carry‑out.
  • Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.

Pay

Starting hourly rate: $17.75 USD per hour.

Schedule

Flexible work schedule with varying hours, days, or shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and other peak shopping times.
