Pay

Starting hourly rate: $15.75 USD per hour. Effective 09/20/26 to 01/02/2027. Non‑exempt team members are eligible for a temporary additional $1 per hour shift differential for eligible overnight or early‑morning hours.

About the Role

Inbound Experts in General Merchandise ensure product is set, in‑stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. They support guest service, inventory accuracy, replenishment, and promotional signing across all General Merchandise areas, including Food & Beverage and Food Service.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience by greeting guests, assisting them, and thanking them at the end of each transaction.
• Support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Execute detailed, accurate, and efficient sorting operations; stock, organize, and store reserve product; straighten merchandise on the sales floor.
• Maintain product availability for General Merchandise categories.
• Operate powered equipment (if certified) while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle environmentally sensitive items in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; report and correct hazards.
• Support guest services such as backup cashier, order pick‑up (OPU), and Drive‑Up (DU) while complying with adult‑beverage laws.
• Perform other duties as needed based on business needs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate using multiple‑frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem‑solving skills; resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks within established timeframes.
• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, lift, carry, and move merchandise up to 44 lb repeatedly, and perform repetitive bending, twisting, reaching, and rotating motions.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, days, or shifts—including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements (e.g., Drive‑Up, carry‑out).
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
