Starting hourly rate: $17.50 USD per hour. Pay range: $17.50 USD - $26.25 USD per hour.

As an Inbound Expert on the General Merchandise and Food Sales team, you’ll lead operations, process, and efficiency to ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. This role supports inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing for all General Merchandise areas, as well as Food & Beverage and Food Service. You’ll also enable efficient delivery to guests by owning pick, pack, and ship fulfillment work.

This role helps build skills for a career by providing experience in guest service fundamentals, retail business operations, inventory management, process efficiency, and delivering on sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience:
  • Greet guests within 10 feet (smile, make eye contact, or wave) and initiate warm, helpful interactions within 4 feet.
  • Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
  • End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an inspiring experience.
• Execute a detailed, accurate, and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize, and store reserve product; straighten merchandise on the sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the sales floor for General Merchandise categories.
• Operate powered equipment (if certified) while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle environmentally sensitive items in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely, report hazards, and correct them where possible.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick-up (OPU), and Drive-Up (DU) while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws (e.g., adult beverage regulations).
• Perform all other duties as needed based on business requirements.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb up and down ladders.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting, carrying, and moving merchandise up to 44 pounds throughout the shift without assistance. This involves repetitive bending, twisting, reaching, and rotating motions.
• Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, and holidays); come to work as scheduled, work scheduled shifts, and take required meal and rest breaks.
• Capable of working in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing job duties (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary).
