Overnight HVAC&R Specialist
Job Overview
Assists HVAC&R team with completing service, installation and preventative maintenance of commercial HVAC&R and kitchen equipment.
Communicates all necessary information pertaining to HVAC & R and related systems to Supervisor or Shift Manager.
Maintains tools, equipment, and work area.
Maintains monitoring of building temperatures and makes adjustments as necessary.
Responds to and assists in all building, equipment, or systems emergency situations involving the Engineering and Maintenance department.
Maintains fire and life safety systems and related equipment.
Operates fire and life safety systems and related equipment.
Performs limited electrical work.
Affixes as-built drawings pertaining to HVAC&R systems for alterations and submits for conversion to CAD.
Job Requirements
- A combination of education and experience to equal 3 years in HVAC&R or related discipline.
- Valid Universal Refrigeration license.
- Boiler License preferred or the ability to attain a license within one year of employment.
- Basic knowledge of computer operation for simple data entry or information retrieval.
- Valid Class D driver’s license may be required with a good driving record.
- Industrial Truck Driving permit may be required (forklift).
