Overnight Grocery Stocking Shift Leader

About the role

In the role of Overnight Grocery Coordinator, you’ll work behind the scenes and play an integral part in supporting our store’s daytime operations. You’ll collaborate with a team overnight to ensure the best and freshest items are in stock, displayed creatively, and available for customers. If you’re a night owl who enjoys working with others to accomplish tasks within deadlines, then this position could be for you!

Responsibilities

• Possess an understanding of the products offered in the department
• Maintain the overall appearance of the department, product, and sustaining product levels throughout the day
• Properly shrink outdated product, check expiration dates, and ensure shelves and displays are arranged creatively
• Understand how products look/taste at peak of perfection and ensure use of core recipes and techniques to provide a consistent and quality outcome
• Assist in ordering and inventory processes, utilizing ordering guides to help control inventory and shrink
• Assist in coordinating the activities of the team, ensuring tasks are prioritized and completed efficiently, and the department runs smoothly

Requirements

• Customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working overnight hours
• Managerial/supervisory experience
