Responsibilities

• Assist the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment to encourage customer loyalty.
• Embrace the Customer 1st strategy and promote excellent customer service among associates.
• Deliver fresh and non-perishable grocery products to meet customer needs.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
• Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Stay updated with store promotions and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Respond to customer inquiries and suggest products.
• Comply with safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions.
• Manage conflicts in a cooperative manner and provide support to customers and employees.
• Work in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
