About the Role
As an Overnight Front Desk Associate, you will provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests while ensuring an exceptional "Judgement Free" experience. Responsibilities include:
- Greeting members/guests as they enter and exit the club, assisting with check-ins and questions
- Promoting our Judgement Free Zone® by connecting with members on the club floor and offering support
- Resolving member concerns and escalating to a Manager as needed
- Answering phones in a friendly manner and assisting callers with inquiries
- Performing membership-related functions such as sign-ups, updates, cancellations, and collecting unpaid balances
- Conducting prospective member calls and tours to assess membership needs
- Executing retail transactions accurately and driving sales goals
- Regular cleaning and sanitizing of exercise equipment, Black Card spa amenities, and communal spaces
- Ensuring restrooms are clean, sanitized, stocked, and clutter-free
- Performing comprehensive club walkthroughs to address safety, policy, and cleanliness concerns
- Promptly addressing maintenance and facility issues (e.g., broken equipment, leaky faucets)
Requirements
- 6–12 months of experience in a customer service environment (preferred)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Willingness to become CPR/AED Certified (training provided)
- Basic computer proficiency
Physical Demands
- Continual standing and moving throughout the club during shift
- Continual communication in person or on the phone
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Exposure to toxic chemicals during cleaning and sanitizing
- Frequent bending, twisting, and moving in different positions to accomplish tasks
Pay
The hourly pay range for this position is $16.42 to $17.42. Planet Fitness reserves the right to pay below or above this range based on factors unrelated to a person’s protected class.
