Overnight Front Desk Associate

About the role

As an Overnight Front Desk Associate at Planet Fitness, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the member experience by providing exceptional customer service, promoting the Judgement Free Zone, and ensuring the club's cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests as they enter and exit the club, assisting with any questions or concerns.
• Help promote the Judgement Free Zone by interacting with members and offering support in their fitness journeys.
• Resolve member concerns and escalate issues to a Manager as necessary.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with their inquiries.
• Perform membership-related functions such as sign-ups, cancellations, and transfers.
• Execute prospective member calls and tours, assessing their membership needs.
• Ensure restrooms are clean and sanitized, and communal spaces are clutter-free.
• Perform a comprehensive walk of all club areas to address safety/policy issues and cleanliness concerns.
• Respond promptly to maintenance and facility concerns, such as fixing broken equipment.

Requirements

• 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Physical demands include continual standing, moving, communicating, lifting up to 75 pounds, and frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
