About the role

Viking Coca-Cola is a privately held, family-run company. As an Overnight Express Driver, you’ll be part of a dedicated team that includes delivery drivers, sales personnel, executive management, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
• Verify inventory before hitting the road to deliver products to branch locations.
• Unload products and proficiently pick up damaged or returned items, as well as manage logistics for empty shells, CO₂, and pallets.
• Engage with customers and team members in a professional and friendly manner.
• Utilize handheld devices and printers for invoicing and streamline operations.
• Adhere to check-in protocols and sorting duties upon return to the warehouse.
• Maintain the cleanliness of your company vehicle.
• Perform other assigned responsibilities.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License.
• Pass a Motor Vehicle Check and adhere to Vehicle Safety Policy.
• Thorough understanding of traffic laws and proficiency in defensive driving.
• Strong written and organizational skills for accurate paperwork completion.
• Effective communication abilities for customer and colleague interactions.
• Basic math skills for invoicing purposes.
• Comfort with technology to utilize handheld devices seamlessly.
