Overnight Delivery Driver

About the role

The Delivery Driver is responsible for preparing, assembling and packaging food items while adhering to food safety, food handling and sanitation procedures. You will also be responsible for dividing and transporting products from our commissary location to our multiple stores in a timely and safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Prep items as needed following CYM SOP's high standards
• Assemble and package fresh food products according to health and safety guidelines
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with commissary and kitchen staff
• Report any equipment malfunction or maintenance needed to the MOD
• Maintain professional conduct at all times
• Review daily packing list/sales order fulfillment invoices for all locations
• Separate prepared products in central commissary location for multiple store sites
• Load delivery vehicle efficiently and safely with daily delivery products, ensuring all food and beverage meets food safety standards
• Achieve delivery metrics, ensuring products are delivered on time to our mobile food trailer and associate locations
• Work shifts that start as late as 6pm and end as early as 5am
• Other duties and tasks assigned by the Manager on Duty

Physical requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout a shift
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, squat, stoop, kneel, twist, reach (including overhead), and perform repetitive motions throughout a shift
• Manual dexterity to safely operate equipment, tools, and technology
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment around hot equipment, sharp tools, and varying temperatures, including refrigerated areas
• Ability to see, hear, speak, read, and communicate effectively while maintaining awareness of surroundings and following safe work practices
• Ability to work in confined spaces, occasionally outdoors when required by the role

Pay

Starting wage: $22.29/hour, plus tips for all positions. With tips, your pay is likely to range from $30-33/hour.
