Overnight Cleaner

About the role

The Overnight Cleaner role at Planet Fitness involves ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas of the facility to provide an outstanding member experience. Key responsibilities include:

• Covering common areas such as restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and the Black Card Spa.
• Cleaning and sanitizing these areas according to Planet Fitness standards.
• Vacuuming floor surfaces and operating the floor scrubber machine.
• Maintaining trash cans and replenishing supplies.
• Communicating inventory needs to the Club Manager.
• Cleaning items high off the ground and reporting broken or missing amenities.
• Operating washing machines and dryers.
• Maintaining cleaning equipment daily.

Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities of the Overnight Cleaner include:

• Greeting members and guests as they enter and exit the club.
• Answering phones and assisting callers with inquiries.
• Executing retail transactions with accuracy and driving sales goals.
• Resolving member concerns and escalating issues to a Manager if necessary.
• Frequently performing a comprehensive walk-through of all club areas to address safety and cleanliness concerns.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should:

• Have a positive and upbeat attitude.
• Be passionate about delivering an exceptional experience to members, guests, and fellow PF team members.
• Possess strong communication and listening skills, along with the ability to motivate others.
• Be able to lift up to 75 pounds and move in various positions, including bending and twisting.
• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Be willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided).
• Have basic computer proficiency.
