Overnight Cleaner

About the role

The Overnight Cleaner position at Planet Fitness involves ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas of the facility to provide an outstanding member experience. Key responsibilities include:

• Covering common areas such as restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and the Black Card Spa.
• Cleaning and sanitizing these areas according to Planet Fitness standards.
• Vacuuming floor surfaces and operating the floor scrubber machine.
• Maintaining trash cans and replenishing supplies.
• Communicating inventory needs to the Club Manager.
• Cleaning items high off the ground and reporting broken or missing amenities.
• Operating washing machines and dryers.
• Maintaining cleaning equipment daily.

Responsibilities

As the Overnight Cleaner, you will be responsible for:

• Greeting members and guests as they enter and exit the club.
• Answering phones and assisting callers with inquiries.
• Executing retail transactions and driving sales goals.
• Resolving member concerns and escalating issues to a Manager.
• Frequently performing a comprehensive walk-through of all club areas to address safety and cleanliness concerns.

Qualifications

Qualifications for this position include:

• Ability to work the overnight shift.
• Cleaning and sanitizing experience is preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Physical demands include continual standing, moving, lifting up to 75 pounds, and exposure to toxic chemicals.
