Home Instead is hiring compassionate and dependable Overnight Caregivers throughout St. Joseph County, Indiana, including South Bend, Mishawaka, Granger, Osceola, New Carlisle, Lakeville, Walkerton, and surrounding communities. The role involves providing overnight care to older adults, ensuring their safety, comfort, and peace of mind during nighttime hours.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and nighttime reassurance
• Assisting with bathroom visits and personal care
• Helping clients safely get in and out of bed
• Providing mobility and fall‑prevention assistance
• Supporting seniors living with Alzheimer's or dementia
• Assisting with bedtime and morning routines
• Providing medication reminders
• Performing light housekeeping
• Monitoring client well‑being and communicating concerns to the care team

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Comfortable working overnight hours
• Ability to remain alert and responsive during assigned shifts
• Reliable transportation
• Good communication skills
• A genuine desire to help older adults
• No prior professional caregiving experience required; training and support are provided

Schedule

• Overnight shifts based on client needs
• Full‑time and part‑time opportunities
• Weekday and weekend overnights
• Extended‑hour client care assignments
