Responsibilities

• Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Help clients with their ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) that are within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide.
• Assist clients with personal hygiene such as skin, mouth, hair care, bathing, and dressing.
• Meal planning and preparation.
• Perform household services including housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist clients with medication reminders which are ordinarily self-administered.
• Report changes in the client’s condition and needs to the administrator or care designer.
• Complete records regarding services performed.
• Drive to appointments or to run errands.
• Accurately record all hours worked.
• Remain alert throughout the shift in case client requires assistance; respond immediately to any such needs by providing the assistance required or calling the Company for guidance.
• Participate in all required entry-level and annual training requirements.
• Maintain an active home care aide registration with the State of California Department of Social Services Home Care Services Bureau.
• Other duties as assigned by the administrator or designee.

Requirements

• Ability to commute to Redwood City, CA (required).
• Ability to relocate to Redwood City or nearby areas before starting work (required).
• Maintain an active home care aide registration with the State of California Department of Social Services Home Care Services Bureau.

Pay

$23 – $26 per hour

Schedule

• Full-time, Part-time
• Day Shift, Night Shift, Overnight Shift (Preferred)
