About the role

Visiting Angels provides a variety of non‑medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. Visiting Angels of Mid Cities & Fort Worth is a non‑medical care service provider in Hurst, TX. Our office serves the HEB area including Hurst, Bedford, Euless, East Fort Worth, North Fort Worth, Haltom City, Watauga, Richland Hills and many others. We offer opportunities to improve your skills with continuing education in areas such as dementia care and Alzheimer’s care. Responsibilities

• Providing companionship with emotional support
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, incontinence care
• Planning and preparing meals
• Light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Transportation to grocery shopping, errands, and doctor appointments
• Maintain accurate records of client care activities

Skills and Requirements

• 1 year minimum of professional caregiving experience with an agency or facility
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle for work purposes with proof of auto insurance
• Compassionate and able to provide companionship and personal care
• Comfortable with light housekeeping and medication reminders
• Able to maintain accurate records

Pay

$16.00‑$19.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Overnight availability
• 12‑hour daytime shifts available
