Overnight Caregiver

About the role

You’ll join a mission-driven team at REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, providing community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Here, you’ll create relationships that motivate both participants and staff every day.

Positions include weekend shifts as scheduled. This is a part-time role with hours from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, plus every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants grow, learn, and live well through rewarding work.
• Develop meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
• Take initiative to help participants engage in community activities and enjoy their favorite pastimes.
• Support participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; must provide a copy or transcripts.
• Six months of experience; experience in intellectual disabilities, behavioral health, or mental health is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Pay

$18.15 hourly (hire wage).
