Overnight Caregiver

About the role

We’re looking for a dedicated Caregiver to join our team for four overnight shifts per week, from 10:00 PM–6:00 AM. As a Caregiver, you’ll play an important role in helping seniors remain safe, comfortable, independent, and happy in their own homes by providing assistance with daily activities, light household tasks, and meaningful companionship.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

Requirements

• Valid South Dakota driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Benefits

• $17.00 to $20.00 per hour – bi-weekly pay
• Additional $1.50/hr differential for overnight shifts
