Overnight Caregiver

About the role

We’re looking for a dedicated Caregiver to join our team for two–three overnight shifts per week, from 8:00 PM–8:00 AM. As a Caregiver, you’ll play an important role in helping seniors remain safe, comfortable, independent, and happy in their own homes by providing assistance with daily activities, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and meaningful companionship.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to help seniors live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring, and range-of-motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document client condition, and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies

Requirements

• Valid South Dakota driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature; good communicator
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Benefits

• $17.00 to $20.00 per hour — bi-weekly pay
• Additional $1.50/hr differential for overnight shifts (8 PM–6 AM)
