Overnight Caregiver

About the role

Homewatch CareGivers of Austin is hiring overnight in-home Caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Home Health Aides (HHA), and Personal Care Providers. You will work with a small set of clients you get to know well, on overnight shifts that stay consistent week to week, in locations including Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Lakeway, and West Lake Hills.

Responsibilities

• Stay awake and alert through the shift, keeping clients safe at home
• Assist with bathroom trips, transfers, and repositioning during the night
• Help with the evening routine at the start of the shift and the morning routine at the end
• Reassure and redirect clients who wake up confused or disoriented
• Handle laundry, light housekeeping, and meal prep during quiet hours
• Report changes in a client's condition to the care team
• Complete 12 hours of annual training through Caregiver University

Requirements

• One or more years of caregiving experience in home care or a skilled facility
• Comfortable working overnight and staying awake through the shift
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Compassionate, reliable, and comfortable working independently
• CNA, HHA, or PCP certification preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

Pay

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience
