Overnight Caregiver

About the role

Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is seeking experienced Overnight Caregivers for a variety of cases. Shifts can be 10pm-6am, 11pm-7am, or 8pm-8am, available during the week and on weekends. Caregivers will provide care for clients in a safe, secure, and professional environment that meets their needs, reporting directly to the Staffing/Care Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Responsible for house maintenance when applicable
• Answers phone calls for clients when necessary
• Converses with patients to provide assurance
• Observes Universal Precautions
• Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities, and shopping
• Handles patient laundry and linen changes
• Performs light housekeeping
• Provides medication reminders
• Prepares meals and cleans up afterward

Requirements

• Previous experience working as an In-Home Caregiver required
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Must have a cell phone or tablet

Schedule

• Overnight shifts: 10pm–6am, 11pm–7am, or 8pm–8am
