Overnight Babysitter for Toddler

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and trusted babysitter to watch over our 2-year-old son while he sleeps. The job is located in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area and will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 1:30 AM to 8:00 AM. This is a straightforward overnight position well-suited for someone who is comfortable with minimal interaction.

Responsibilities

• Watch over our 2-year-old son while he sleeps.
• If he wakes, leave him to fall back asleep on his own.
• If he comes out of his room, calmly guide him back to bed and allow him to cry until he settles.
• If the dogs bark, a stern "quiet" should suffice.

Requirements

• Reliable and trusted.
• Comfortable with minimal interaction.
• Comfortable with dogs.

Additional details

• No additional child care duties are required as he will be in bed the entire time.
• No driving, feeding, or bathing is needed.
• We have two dogs; one will be crated and the other will be loose but is very friendly.
