Overnight Babysitter for 2-7 Year Olds

We are seeking a responsible and caring overnight babysitter in Washington, DC, to care for our three children: a 2-year-old girl, a 4-year-old boy, and a 7-year-old boy.

Schedule

The shift starts on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 10:00 PM and ends on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Childcare responsibilities begin at 6:00 PM and end around 9:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve dinner and snacks
• Provide attentive and engaged supervision at all times
• Assist with homework for the 7-year-old
• Facilitate educational and age-appropriate activities, such as reading books
• Manage diaper changes for the 2-year-old
• Facilitate bathroom/potty times every two hours for the 2- and 4-year-olds
• Support bedtime routines, including feeding, bathing, and putting the children to bed
• Clean up after meals and activities
• Engage in playtime, games, and movies

Requirements

• Ensure a safe and fun environment for the children throughout the night
• No driving required
• No pets in the home
